The IMAGE BANK OF THE STATE OF SÃO PAULO was created to facilitate researches and provide the trade professionals with information and images of the main tourist circuits of the State. We are aware, though, that in spite of all our efforts  we are making available only a small sample of what São Paulo offers.

Allow us an advice: pick up a destination and discover São Paulo. It will be quite an agreeable/positive surprise!
“Much beyond the business world, the State of São Paulo calls the attention for its grandeur and for the diversity of its tourist destinations. And to foster the sector we offer an Image Bank that reproduces faithfully our attractions and beauties, which will certainly generate other actions for the benefit of the Tourism of the State of São Paulo. Our contribution aims at spreading the attractions and make them known, thus stimulating travels, the most pleasurable comings and goings of the universe.”

“Called the ‘driving force of Brazil’, the State of São Paulo is also superlative when the subject is tourism. Historical cities, climatic resorts, archeological sites, religious itineraries, cascades, waterfalls, caves and 622 kilometers of beaches - are alternatives for all purses and preferences.  Moreover, how not mentioning the city of São Paulo, with the multiple cultural attractions, the rich gastronomy and the traditional tourism sites, namely the districts of Bixiga and Liberdade?
These photos translate with accuracy this diversity and invite you to discover São Paulo at its best.”

Luiz Barretto
Minister of Tourism

“The State of São Paulo is responsible for 43% of the national tourism GDP (Gross Domestic Product). It features the best and more diversified tourism infrastructure of the Country, with airports, ports, highways, hotels, pousadas and of international standard restaurants. Not only that, but São Paulo also accounts for almost 20% of all formal jobs absorbed by the tourism activity in Brazil.

People from all over the world come here to participate in major trade fairs and events (arts, entertainment and sports), to rest in some of the most beautiful beaches of the Country, to learn about our history and culture, and to enjoy nature in adventure activities, and to justify the fame, doing business. And it is precisely all this wealth and diversity of sceneries and activities that are in this Image Bank created and maintained by the State Secretariat of Sport, Leisure and Tourism, as a contribution to the activity and the promotion of São Paulo as the destination for many Brazilians and foreigners.”
